The episode started with Nagarjuna's sparkling entry with 'Jeevithame Oka Deepawali' song. Sohel and Avinash played a prank on Monal. Sohel and Mehboob teased Avinash by trying to steal his food. Bigg Boss gave 'Oppo F17 Pro' task. Housemates will divide into photographers and frames teams. They should also tell a story with their photos. Bigg Boss gave three features for each team. After the photo session, Bigg Boss played the photos.

Lasya said that there is a Diwali surprise for Nagarjuna and danced for 'Andama Anduma' song with Abhijeet. Harika and Mehboob danced for 'Priya Raagale' song. Avinash and Ariyana danced for 'Dikka Dikka Dum Dum' song. Sohel and Monal danced for 'Bolo Ashta Lakshmi' song. All the housemates danced for 'Paduchandam' song.

Nagarjuna said that Amala bought some gifts for the housemates and sent them. All the housemates got very happy.  Nagarjuna asked why they haven't taken a proper decision in eliminating Akhil and the housemates gave an explanation. Nagarjuna asked everyone to pick an atom bomb and Chichubuddi in the house. Mehboob gave Chichubuddi to Ariyana and Atombomb to Abhijeet. Ariyana gave Chichubuddi to Mehboob and Atombomb to Avinash. Sohel gave Chichubuddi to Ariyana and Atombomb to Abhijeet. Monal gave Chichubuddi to Mehboob and Atombomb to Abhijeet. Abhijeet gave Chichubuddi to Sohel and Atombomb to Mehboob. 

Harika gave Chichubuddi to Sohel and Atombomb to Mehboob. Lasya gave Atombomb to Abhijeet and Chichubuddi to Sohel. Avinash gave Chichubuddi to Monal and Atombomb to Ariyana. Nagarjuna greeted Akhil and asked why he left the house without even defending himself. Akhil said that he hoped that Bigg Boss won't send the strong contestants. Nag said that his calculations went wrong and asked him to get out of the Bigg Boss house. Akhil cried and entered the Bigg Boss house. 

Sohel hugged him and cried. But, Nagarjuna said that he is getting evicted and gave Akhil a task. Akhil gave friendship bands to Sohel and Monal. Akhil gave enemy bands to Abhijeet, Lasya, Harika, and Mehboob. He blamed and insulted those four. Nagarjuna said that Akhil is safe and will stay in the house. He gave two pots to Akhil and he has to break one of them which has either nominated or captain. Akhil became the captain. Abhijeet is in the safe zone.
