Allu Arjun plays the lead role in Pushpa. Sukumar is teaming up with Allu Arjun after the super hits, Arya and Arya 2. The makers recently resumed the shoot and wrapped up a major shooting schedule in the Telugu states. Now, they want to shift the shoot to Varanasi. The new schedule is going to begin on the 18th of December. The key cast will fly to Varanasi and take part in the shoot there.

Rashmika Mandanna plays the leading lady in the film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. Mythri Movie Makers is the production house bankrolling the movie.
