Since the release of Baahubali, Prabhas is seen as a National Star and all dynamics including scale & financials have changed for his subsequent films. While producers are looking for a Pan India release, his directors are seeking Bollywood stars to pair alongside him. For his next with Nag Ashwin, Prabhas has reportedly received a pay cheque of 100 Cr from Ashwini Dutt and the film also have Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in main roles. The makers are spending another 50 Cr to pay the salaries of Deepika and Sr Bachchan. In total, Vyjayanthi Movies is spending a massive 150 Cr on three actors - Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.
The makers have planned this project in 300 Cr budget and half of it is going to 3 lead actors. Nag Ashwin will have to finish production with remaining budget (150 Cr) and that tells the value of star power.
When Amitabh's onboarding was confirmed, everyone assumed that he will be doing a guest role. But, it's a full length role and so the makers have offered him a huge moolah. With Big B and Deepika onboard, the film will certainly gain some solid potential in Hindi belt too.
