Finally, the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards South for the year 2020 were announced. Many talented actors and technicians are selected as the winners of this edition. Naveen Polishetty, Rashmika Mandanna and Sujeeeth are some of the celebrities who won the awards for this year.

Naveen Polishetty was widely appreciated for his performance in the film Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya. He is going to be conferred with the Best Actor Award for this movie. Rashmika will receive the Best Actress Award for her performance in the movie Dear Comrade. Nani's emotional drama Jersey won the Best Film Award.

Director Sujeeth won the Best Director Award for his action thriller Saaho. Star composer SS Thaman won the Best Music Director award. King Nagarjuna won the award of Most Versatile Actor. The event will be held on 20 February 2021 at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. Last year, actors like Mahesh Babu, Yash and Anushka won these prestigious awards.
