Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy working on a crazy film Acharya. After multiple delays, the film's shoot started but the lockdown disrupted the plans. However, the director resumed the shoot right after lockdown and is planning to release it for Summer. Koratala Siva does not want to make any more delay in releasing the film for this Summer.

The shoot of the film is in progress at full swing already. Chiranjeevi is also taking part in the shoot actively. Very soon, the film unit will can the portions involving Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi. Most likely, the film unit aims to finish the shoot by March-end.

As per the buzz, the film is scheduled for a grand release on May 9th, this year. It is a special day for Chiranjeevi as his career's biggest hit Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari released on the same day. The film unit is going to confirm the same officially very soon. Kajal Aggarwal plays the leading lady in the film. Mani Sharma is the music director.
