Indian 2 is one of the prestigious projects being made in South. Titled Bharateeyudu 2 in Telugu, Kamal Haasan is the lead actor. Shankar is the film director. The film is the sequel for super hit film Indian/Bharateeyudu. Already, DOP Ravi Varman walked out of the project when the film started. Now, we have been reading reports that Rathnavelu who replaced Ravi Varman has decided to quit the project.

After the accident on the sets of Indian 2, there is no update on the film's shoot. The film unit has not resumed the shoot and multiple speculations have come around the film. There is no update from either Kamal Haasan or director Shankar. Since Rathnavelu can't wait anymore for the film,he decided to move on.
