Superstar Mahesh Babu's last film Sarileru Neekevvaru was a huge blockbuster at the box office. It was one of the highest grossers in the history of Tollywood. The film is still continuing to break records even after a year of its release. Last night, there was a special show of this film held in Sudarshan theatre of RTC X Roads in Hyderabad, on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri.

The film collected a massive amount of Rs. 1.47 lakhs through this special show. That proves the stamina of Mahesh at the box office. With this feat, Sarileru Neekevvaru now became the highest Shivaratri special show grosser in the Telugu states. Mahesh's fans are trending the film on social media by sharing this achievement.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sarileru Neekevvaru featured Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. As of now, Mahesh is currently working on his next project Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Parasuram is helming the project and Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead in it.
