Young Rebel Star Prabhas who is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie 'Radhe Shyam' also signed his next with Bollywood director Om Raut of 'Tanhaji' fame and is all set to come up with a mythological epic drama Adipurush which is based on Hindu Epic Ramayana. Prabhas is going to play the role of Lord Rama in the movie whereas Kriti Sanon will be playing the role of Sita.

Sunny Singh is on board to play Lakshman's role whereas Saif Ali Khan is going to essay Ravana's role in the movie. Touted to be a pan-Indian high-budget project, the makers have wanted to shoot the film in a special set in Mumbai. But due to the second wave of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown in some states, the makers have decided to complete the shooting in Hyderabad itself.

The makers are yet to resume the shooting of the film. The movie is going to get released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages. Sudeep is also going to play a crucial role in this movie.
