Power Star Pawan Kalyan who recently marked his come back with the blockbuster of 'Vakeel Saab' movie is all set to do the Telugu remake of Malayalam super hit film 'Ayyappanam Koshiyum' with Rana Daggubati in the other lead role.

The makers have initially got Sai Pallavi on board to play Pawan Kalyan's wife role. But, she has opted out of the project because of the reasons best known to her. The makers then roped in Nithya Menon to play the role. As per the latest reports, the makers are now planning to add a special flashback episode to the movie. Trivikram Srinivas is penning the screenplay for the film and is going to write a special flashback episode for Pawan Kalyan. Earlier, for Vakeel Saab also, the film unit added a special flashback track for Pawan Kalyan. It looks like the same formula is being used for this movie as well. The shooting of the film will resume as soon as the second wave of coronavirus calms down.

Sagar K Chandra is helming this project. Aishwarya Rajesh is romancing Rana in the film. The film is expected to get wrapped up during the latter half of 2021
