The second wave of covid-19 has affected the Telugu film industry all over again. As all the theatres got shut down again, the craze for the OTT platforms got increased again. On this note, rumors that the makers of Akhil Akkineni's upcoming movie 'Most Eligible Bachelor' are also in plans to skip the theatrical release and go ahead with the direct OTT release.

But recently, Geetha Arts banner which is bankrolling the film clarified that they have no plans of releasing any of their films directly on the OTT platforms. So, it seems like 'Most Eligible Bachelor' starring Akhil and Pooja Hegde under the direction of Bommarillu Bhaskar might not get a direct digital release. On the other hand, Geetha Arts also have some more interesting projects like Nikhil Siddharth's '18 pages', Allu Sirish's untitled movie in their pipeline.

Just like 'Most Eligible Bachelor', we can expect that these two movies might also get a theatrical release only.
