The recently released Malayalam thriller, 'Kappela' is now all set to get remade in Telugu. The makers have recently launched the film in Hyderabad.

Young hero Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Master fame Arjun Das are playing the lead in the movie. The makers are yet to lock the female lead for the flick. According to the latest buzz, the makers are planning to lock ‘Butta Bomma’ as the title of the film. Needless to mention that 'Butta Bomma' is a super hit song from the 2020 released blockbuster, 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'. Composed by SS Thaman, the song became a chartbuster. Also, as Kappela is a female-centric story, Butta Bomma seems like an apt title.

S Naga Vamsi is bankrolling the film under the Sithara Entertainments banner. Debutant S Chandrasekhar is helming the project. Care of Kancharapalem fame Sweekar Shasthi is composing the tunes.
