Tollywood Senior Hero Victory Venkatesh is all set to come up with the much-awaited Telugu remake of Tamil super hit film 'Asuran' with the title 'Naarappa'. During the lockdown, Suresh Babu sold the film to direct release on the OTT platform. This shocking decision also received huge criticism from the exhibitors and distributors. Suresh Babu took this decision considering the pandemic situation.

But the theatres are getting reopened now. So, Suresh Babu wants to take back the film from the OTT. But the presenter of the film Thanu is not at all convinced with this decision. So, Venky convinced Thanu by offering to give back his remuneration if at all they incur losses. The OTT rights of the film would have made 30 crores to the makers. So, if the box office collections of the film are only 25 crores, Venky will cover the 5 crores loss with his remuneration.

Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Rajeev Kanakala are playing crucial roles in this film. Kalaipuli S Thanu and Suresh babu are bankrolling this project. Mani Sharma is composing tunes for this film.
