For the last few weeks, the Telugu film industry is occupied with the news of the Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections. This time, the heat started long before the polls and is raising the temperature with each passing day.
As of now, it is heard that the competition will be between Prakash Raj, Manchu Vishnu, Jeevitha Rajashekhar, Hema, and CVL Narasimha Rao. Vishnu, who was silent on all these days, finally came and opened up to the media.
The Dhee actor shared a video clip on social media yesterday in which he spoke about his plans for MAA elections. He assured he will construct MAA building with his own money if he gets elected as the president.
He said, "I will bear every penny for the construction of MAA building. Forget about it now." Vishnu said. He added that he will be ready to take up the presidential post if the industry's big wigs Chiranjeevi, Krishnam Raju, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, and Mohan Babu elect him unanimously.
If they fail to elect Vishnu unanimously, he is ready to compete in the poll. Until now, each and every MAA contestant used MAA building construction as the key point of their manifesto. As Vishnu assured that he will construct with his own money, it has to be seen if MAA members support him in winning unanimously.
