R Narayana Murthy recently opened up the OTT platforms and made some shocking comments on the OTT platforms. R Narayana Murthy who graced an event in Vijayawada said that only 25% of the audience from the Telugu States watched 'Naarappa' movie on the OTT platforms and there is no entertainment platforms for the poor, and middle-class families who opt for theatrical watching.

R Narayana Murthy claimed that watching a film in the theatre is a different experience altogether and requested the chief ministers of the Telugu States to reopen the theatres as soon as possible.

He also claimed that when the entire country is fighting with the pandemic, the government is creating obstacles for the one and only entertainment for the poor people.

Narayana Murthy also requested the filmmakers to release the films in the theatres instead of giving an OTT release.

He is currently busy with the promotions of his next film Raithanna.
