Popular writer, director, and actor Posani Krishna Murali has tested positive for the coronavirus. He revealed the same in a statement the other day and informed the media that he is undergoing treatment at AIG Hospitals in Gachibowli.

Along with Posani, his family members were also tested positive for the coronavirus. All of them are now undergoing treatment in AIG Hospitals. The sources said that they are doing fine and there is nothing to worry about.

However, the shootings of two major Telugu films will be affected in the absence of Posani. He apologized to the makers of both the films.

"I, along with my family, have tested positive for the coronavirus. We are doing fine and are undergoing treatment in AIG Hospitals. The shooting of two big films may postpone because of my absence. I apologize to the producers for the same," said Posani in a statement.

Posani has recently participated as a special guest in a television reality show.
