Tollywood starlet Samantha Akkineni has been coming forward with some concept-oriented movies lately. The actress who recently played a crucial role in the recently released web series, 'The Family Man Season 2' is currently busy with the shooting of her upcoming film 'Shakuntalam'.

The actress who has already transformed herself to play the role of an LTTI Rebel in the web series is working, even more, harder for her role in Shakuntalam which is a period mythological drama.

It seems like Samantha has been challenging herself with these roles. Being directed by Gunasekhar, Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha is also playing a crucial role in the film.

Gunasekhar is the film's director. His daughter Neelima Gunaa is the film's producer. Mani Sharma is the film's music director.

The film unit wants to release the film next year in theatres.
