Kollywood star hero Dhanush who also commands a huge fan base in Tollywood is all set to come up with his first-ever straight Telugu film in his career.

None other than Shekar Kammula is helming this project and 'Fidaa' beauty Sai Pallavi is romancing Dhanush in the film.

According to the latest reports, the movie is going to highlight the political uncertainty in Tamil Nadu. The entire story will be reportedly set during the days of the Madras Presidency during British rule.

On an interesting note, Dhanush will be playing the role of a Madrasi Telugu leader in the film which increased their expectations.
