It has been almost two years since Naga Chaitanya had a theatrical release. His last film Venky Mama had hit the screens in December 2019. His upcoming release Love Story was supposed to release long back but is getting delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Josh actor is not stopping his work and is signing a spree of new projects. Already, he is busy with the shooting of Thank You under the direction of Vikram K Kumar.

Recently, he also kickstarted shooting for Bangarraju, under the direction of Kalyana Krishna. This movie features Akkineni Nagarjuna in the other lead role.

If the latest buzz is anything to go by, Naga Chaitanya signed a new film with director Mohana Krishna Indraganti. This movie will be bankrolled by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the Shine Screens banner.

The sources say that Chay was impressed by the script narrated by Indraganti and gave an immediate nod. More details about the rest of the cast, crew, and the launch of the film are expected to be announced soon.

Currently, Indraganti is busy with the works of his ongoing project Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali, which features Sudheer Babu and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles.
