Akhil Akkineni is one of the young heroes in the Tollywood film industry. The actor is working on a couple of interesting films now. One of them is Agent, under Surender Reddy's direction. Interestingly, Akhil is also going to be seen in Bangarraju as well.

Akhil was initially approached to play the lead role in the film but he had to let go off the opportunity as he could not allott bulk dates for the film.

The makers later roped in Naga Chaitanya for the role that Akhil was initially approached for. The film unit announced the film with both Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya already.

However, we hear that Akhil will also be a part of the film now. Akhil will not be seen in a full-length role but his presence will be felt in a big way, say the reports.
