In his recent media interactions, Natural Star Nani said that he will announce a new project during Dasara festive season. However, we hear an interesting update about this flick.

According to the sources, this movie will be directed by debutant Srikanth, who earlier assisted Sukumar. Sudhakar Cherukuri will bankroll the project under the banner of SLV Cinemas. It is being heard that the film is titled as 'Dasara.'

Touted to be a love story based in rural Telangana, the pre-production works of this movie are currently underway. It looks like the makers want to announce the title during Dasara as it coincides with the name of the festival.

Meanwhile, Nani is currently working on two projects - Shyam Singha Roy and Ante...Sundaraniki. The former is being directed by Rahul Sankrityan and the latter is being helmed by Vivek Athreya.

Apparently, Shyam Singha Roy may hit the screens by the end of this year. Ante...Sundaraniki will release early next year. It is reported that Dasara will release in the latter half of 2022.

Nani's latest release Tuck Jagadish had a direct premiere on Amazon Prime Video last week.
