Jr NTR and Ram Charan are playing the lead roles in the film RRR. Rajamouli is the film's director. The film was supposed to hit the screens next month but the film unit postponed it to a later date but did not confirm the same yet. As per the latest reports in the film nagar, we hear that the film's release date is locked.

Most likely, the film will be hitting the screens on 12th January, next year. The official announcement of the same is going to be out this week. The makers are planning to fast up the post-production works and launch the promotional campaign soon.

Already, there are a bunch of films lined up for a grand release during Sankranthi next year but the addition of RRR could halt other releases. We have to see how the producers deal with this situation.
