Versatile actor Prakash Raj has taken a bold and firm decision to resign from his primary membership at the Movie Artists Association (MAA). The sensational actor lost the election against Manchu Vishnu. Prakash Raj wanted to become the President of the MAA Association. Having tasted the defeat, the actor has resigned to his membership now.

Speaking at a press meet, Prakash Raj revealed that people called him non-local and picked a local actor as the President.

"They told me non-local. Today, a local person became the President. They called me a guest. I will remain as a guest alone and will focus only on my movies. I will continue to act in Telugu films. They bought regional and National politics into the elections. The game has just started now," he said.

Manchu Vishnu is also expected to address the press later today.
