Salman Khan is the super star of the Bollywood cinema. The star actor is all set to shine in an upcoming Telugu film, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role. Titled Godfather, the film is the official remake of the Malayalam hit film Lucifer.

Interestingly, in the original, Prithviraj Sukumaran played the role Salman will be doing now. The film unit has already began the shoot but they have now planned a new schedule that will begin in February, next year.

Salman Khan will join this new schedule in Hyderaabd from February. The actor will have less screen time in the film but it is going to be an impactful character.

Mohan Raja is the film's director. Ram Charan is bankrolling the film along with NV Prasad. More details of the film will be out soon.
