Mega Prince Varun Tej is all set to come up with a sports drama this time. Titled as 'Ghani', Varun Tej is playing the role of a boxer in the film. Debutant director Kiran korrapati is helming this project. Saiee Manjrekar is romancing Varun Tej in this much-awaited film.

The movie was supposed to hit the theatres in December but the makers postponed the release to avoid the clash with biggest like Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' and Nani's 'Shayam Sinha Roy'. We have back-to-back big releases in the next year as well. The makers of 'Ghani' are planning to release the film in April. According to the buzz, the makers are planning to lock April 1st as the worldwide release date of the film. The official announcement regarding the same is yet to get released.

Sidhu Munda under Renaissance pictures in association with Allu Bobby Company is bankrolling this project. Kannada star Upendra and Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty are playing crucial roles in this film. SS Thaman is composing tunes for the films.
