Actor Dhanush announced his new film the other day. Directed by Venky Atluri, this film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual project. While the Telugu version has been titled Sir, the Tamil version has been named Vaathi. The makers have roped in a talented cast and crew for this movie.

Malayalam actress Samyuktha Menon will be the female lead of this film. Samyuktha is all set to make her Telugu debut with Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati's upcoming film Bheemla Nayak. She is paired alongside Rana in the movie. Sir will be her second Telugu outing.

Meanwhile, seasoned actors like Sai Kumar and Tanikella Bharani have been roped in to play pivotal roles in the movie.

GV Prakash Kumar will be composing the music of the film. The combination of Dhanush and GV Prakash has given some good musical hits in Tamil, in the past. Dinesh Krishnan is handling the cinematography and Navin Nooli is the editor of the film.

It is reported that the regular shoot of this film will start rolling from January next year.

Apart from this movie, Dhanush is also doing another Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, which is being directed by Shekhar Kammula.
