Akhanda is one of the super hit films in Telugu. Balakrishna Nandamuri played the lead role recently. The film bought back the combination of Boyapati Srinu and Balakrishna for the third time at the box office. Interestingly, the duo is now planning to work on the sequel.

During the film's success meet, the makers of Akhanda already confirmed that a sequel is in progress. But, Boyapati did not confirm when the project will begin. The latest reports reveal us that Balakrishna is putting pressure on Boyapati to start the shoot of Akhanda 2 this year itself.

Although Boyapati has other commitments, he is now planning to finish the film's script first and then think of beginning Akhanda sequel.
