Kona Venkat is one of the star writers in the Telugu film industry. He is one of the few writers in the film industry who charged a crore as remuneration. He worked for a lot of films and tasted big hits. Now, there are reports coming in that he is all set to become a director.

Earlier, Kona planned to make his directorial debut but things did not work in his favor. For the films Geethanjali, and Shankarabharanam, he is said to have done the ghost direction but there is no confirmation on the same.

However, Kona is currently busy as a writer and on the other hand, he is also preparing a script for his debut as a director. As of now, nothing has been finalized and a formal announcement on the same will be out soon.
