Later, they did Simhadhri, Yamadhonga, and recently RRR. The fans of NTR show a great response towards Rajamouli films because of their bonding but things seem to be different now.

The fans of NTR feel that the importance of Ram Charan's character is greater in RRR than that of NTR. In the pre-release event of Acharya, Rajamouli stated that Ram Charan is a self-made hero and praised him, by which the fans got even angrier with Rajamouli.

The only way Rajamouli can regain the love of fans is by making a hit film with NTR again with the actor being the solo lead. As he already mentioned that he had written a story by the name of "Garuda" that will suit NTR, now we have to see if it gets materialized anytime soon.
