Bollywood have a huge interest towards south films. The famous films are being dubbed or remade in their language which already received a great response. The super hit film Arjun Reddy is remade in their language as Kabir Singh which is a hit.

The success of the Kabir Singh made Shahid Kapoor sign for the remake of the film Jersey. The remake is titled Jersey in Hindi and it is bankrolled by Dil Raju and Allu Aravind.

According to the reports, they invested a total of 90 crores in this film. Opposite to their high expectations of the film, it is a flop in Bollywood.

The total collection in the first whole week was near to 15 crores and the film is a big loss to Dil Raju and other parties involved.

The reason for the failure is that Jersey was already available on OTT platforms and it was also dubbed in Hindi where the Hindi version was watched by many North audiences.
