Star beauty Samantha who recently came up with a Tamil dubbing movie 'Kanmani Rambo Khatija' is all set to come up with Guna Shekar's directorial 'Shakuntlam'.

The actress also signed a woman-centric action thriller, 'Yashoda' under the direction of Hari and Harish. The recently released motion poster of the film also impressed the audience. But according to the latest buzz, the movie is likely to get postponed. The film was supposed to premiere on August 12th but it seems like the makers are now looking for a new release date. However, the formal announcement and the reason behind the postponement are yet to be known. Touted to be a survival thriller, Yashoda is about an imprisoned woman played by Samantha. The film was originally shot in Telugu but is also scheduled to get released in other languages like Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Apart from Samantha, Varalakshmi Sharath Kumar, Rao Ramesh, Unni Mukundan, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Divya Sripada, Priyanka Sharma and Kalpika Ganesh are also playing crucial roles in the film.
