Karthikeya 2 is one of the upcoming Telugu films. Starring Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles, the film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Soon after the trailer was launched, everyone started comparing that the film has similarities with Devi Putrudu.

During the promotions of the movie, director Chandoo Mondeti opened up on these similarities.

"I know that a lot of people are comparing Karthikeya 2 with Devi Putrudu. But, there is no truth in the same. Our story is completely new. Lord Sri Krishna is just an element in our movie. There is a lot of mystery in the movie," said Chandoo Mondeti.

The film is releasing tomorrow in a grand manner. Let us hope that the film will become a big hit at the box office.
