Janagana Mana is Puri Jagan's dream project that he was supposed to do with Superstar Mahesh Babu. However, the project never happened. The director changed his mind and has announced the film with Vijay Deverakonda. After shooting the film for some part, now, they reportedly decided to call off the film.

The latest industry reports reveal us that the shoot is not happening and the makers decided to shelve the film as they can not invest a huge amount in the film, that too, after the failure of Liger.

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey played the lead roles in the film. The film released all over the nation but it has ended as a big disaster at the box office. Since the same team will work for Janagana Mana, the makers no longer see a potential in the film making it big.
