iSmart Shankar is one film that brought Puri Jagannath back to success form. Starring Ram Pothineni in the lead role, the film also had Niddhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh in the leading lady roles. The film unit revealed that they may plan a sequel for it but they did not pursue the idea forward.

As per the latest reports now, Puri Jagannath is planning to do a sequel now for the film as he is not able to go forward with his next film Janagana Mana.

Puri Jagannath teamed up with Ram Pothineni for the film iSmart Shankar. With the sequel, Puri will now be aiming to make a successful comeback.
