After scoring a hit with Maanaadu, actor Simbu is now coming up with his new film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, this movie is hitting the screens on September 15.

It is being dubbed into Telugu as The Life of Muthu. The popular production house, Sravanthi Movies, is releasing the film in Telugu.

Earlier, it was announced that the Telugu version would have a simultaneous release with the Tamil version on September 15.

But now, the Telugu release has been pushed to September 17. We hear that the delay in technical works is the cause of postponement. That means the Telugu version will hit the screens two days after the release of the original Tamil version.

The Life of Muthu traces the journey of Muthu from being a nobody to becoming a popular gangster. Sidhi Idnani plays the female lead in it. Radhika Sarathkumar and Neeraj Madhav played other important roles in it. AR Rahman composed the music for this movie.
