Prabhas and Kriti Sanon are playing the lead roles as Lord Sriram and Seetha Devi in the upcoming pan-Indian film titled Adipurush. The movie is one of the most interesting projects in recent times. However, the team announced a postponement recently.

The film was initially scheduled for a grand release during Sankranthi 2023 but the team postponed it to a later date. The makers confirmed now that the film will release in June next year.

Prabhas is playing the lead role in the upcoming Telugu film titled Adipurush. Om Raut is the director of the film, which is being planned at a pan-India level. Interestingly, the film that was supposed to hit the screens during Sankranthi 2023 has been postponed by the makers.

Now, the team took to social media to officially confirm the film's release date.

“Adipurush is not a film, but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Sri Ram and commitment towards our Sanskriti and history. In order to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film. Adipurush will now release on June 16, 2023. We are committed to making a film that India is proud of. Your support, love, and blessings is what keeps us going.” mentioned the makers, confirming the film's postponement.
