Liger is one of the most interesting films in recent times. Starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role, the movie has created a special interest, but somehow, the movie failed to impress the audiences. The movie ended as a big flop in theatres. Puri Jagannath directed the film.

Mani Sharma was the music director initially for the project, but at the last minute, the makers changed the music director and hired the Hindi music directors for the project. Mani was hurt by this.

In a recent talk show, Mani Sharma was asked about the same to which he gave an explanation. The same will be telecasted in the full episode. Despite scoring success with iSmart Shankar, Puri and Mani parted ways.
