Adipurush is one of the upcoming pan-Indian projects. It is the retelling of The Ramayana in the current times. Starring Prabhas in the lead role, the film is directed by Om Raut.

Adipurush also features Saif Ali Khan as the main antagonist. He will be seen as Lankesh in the film. Meanwhile, there are speculations that Saif Ali Khan is being approached by more filmmakers down South.

If the reports are believed to be true, Saif Ali Khan is in talks to play the villain in Mahesh Babu's next film, in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas.

Although this is just a speculation, there is no clarity on whether the Bollywood actor has really been approached for the film. Earlier, it was rumored that Anil Kapoor is also a part of the film but the makers did not make anything official.
