'RRR' breaks 26 years record of Rajinikanth in Japan

Iconic Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli's magnum opus, 'RRR' has done breaking records in India and travelled to international platforms for the test of recognition. But it looks like the movie started to break records at the international level too and tend to gain a reputation as the "highest-ever"

 

Earlier, 'RRR' has been released in Japan following its high-end reception & demand on the eastern side of the globe. The film was released amidst major hype with the stars Ram Charan & Tarak attending the press meetings & promotional events, stars game maker Hideo Kojima promoting the film & Rajamouli personally. Upon its release, the film attracted huge crowds with wider acclaim and has nominated for a few records. But today, the film is marked as the 'Indian Film with Highest Record at the Box-office'. According to the reports, the film has collected ¥400 Million which is ₹24.10 CR, surpassing the lifetime collection of Rajinikanth’s 'Muthu' which stands at ₹23.50 CR.

 

Now, the trade pundits are estimating the film to cross the 'K.G.F. Chapter 2' lifetime gross of ₹1230 CR in China on its release. An official announcement about the same is expected.
