Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's Dhamaka was released last Friday and is minting a good amount in theatres due to the Christmas weekend. Even though the story is routine and old, Dhamaka is managing to earn well due to its comedy and commercial elements.

According to the sources, writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada narrated this story first to Ram Charan. Apparently, Charan rejected it citing that the story is illogical. If you watched Dhamaka, you would agree with Charan's point.

Moreover, there is an Indra spoof scene in this movie. Now, we think that Prasanna Kumar wrote this sequence keeping Charan in mind. He might have thought that it would be Charan's version of the popular interval scene of his father Chiranjeevi's Indra.

We hear that after Charan rejected the script, Prasanna Kumar took it to various other heroes. Finally, it ended up in the lap of Ravi Teja. In a way, the film turned out to be beneficial for Ravi whereas it might have turned negative for Charan if he had done it.
