Shruti Haasan, actress in Tollywood, recently starred in the Sankranti releases Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. Despite her leading role in both films, she did not heavily promote them. In an interview, she stated that she signed on for the films simply for the opportunity to be a part of big productions.

Shruti also addressed the age gap between her and her co-stars, stating that she is not concerned about the age of the heroes as long as the director believes their pairing will work.

She expressed that her role in Salaar will showcase her in the best light, and that her other projects in Hindi and English are also turning out well.

We have to see if Shruti Haasan can claim the much needed success at least with the film Salaar.
