Veteran novelist and screenwriter Yandamuri Veerendranath met with an accident yesterday near Siddipet city of Telangana. Fortunately, he is safe and didn't suffer any injuries.

According to the reports, Yandamuri was traveling to Karimnagar from Hyderabad. An RTC bus hit his car from behind near Thimmareddypalli of Kondapaka Mandal. The rear portion of the car was damaged but Yadamuri and the driver didn't suffer any injuries.

Soon after the accident, the locals reached the location and helped Yandamuri. Reportedly, the police didn't file any case against the bus driver upon Yandamuri's statement.

However, Yandamuri is active on social media and he has not responded anything about the same. He went on to share information on all other his activities. Although the fans worried of the same, it is good to know that he is safe.
