After Twitter started giving the 'verified tick mark' on a subscription basis, whoever wants the tick started buying it. This led to the generation of various fake accounts on celebrity names. Earlier, we have seen the fake verified handles of various prominent personalities like Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

Now, an imposter filled the entire Bollywood media by creating a fake Twitter handle in the name of director Siddharth Anand. On his name, the imposter announced Dhoom 4 with Shah Rukh Khan playing the antagonist.

As soon as the imposter made this tweet, the whole Bollywood media started reporting this fake news officially on their websites. The blue-tick mark on the handle fooled them. Later, it was found that the handle is fake and everyone was fooled.

Siddharth Anand scored a blockbuster this year with his movie Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan. He is currently working on his next film Fighter which features Hrithik Roshan as the lead hero. He also has a project with Prabhas in hand.
