Box Office Day 4: Dhanush's Captain Miller Collections To Cross 50 Cr Mark

Dhanush's new film 'Captain Miller,' directed by Arun Matheswaran, has performed well in theaters over the past four days. The action drama is on its way to cross the Rs 50-crore mark globally, with expectations that it will achieve this milestone today.


Released on January 12, 'Captain Miller' faced competition from other films like 'Merry Christmas,' 'Ayalaan,' 'Guntur Kaaram,' 'HanuMan,' and 'Mission: Chapter 1.'


Despite the initial competition, the film received positive responses from critics and audiences.


The film is estimated to have earned Rs 6.50 crore net in India, bringing its four-day total collection to Rs 30.45 crore at the domestic box office on Monday. The overall occupancy was reported to be 40.69 percent.


Directed by Arun Matheswaran, 'Captain Miller' stars Dhanush and Priyanka Arul Mohan in lead roles. The film also features Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, and Elango Kumaravel.


The film, set in the pre-independence era, features music scored by GV Prakash. The trade pundits are terming the project as a hit in Tamil. The Telugu version of the film will release on the 25th of this month.
