South Indian cinema enthusiasts have much to look forward to in April as a slew of highly anticipated films are set to grace the silver screen across Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu languages. Amid the ongoing success of movies like "Aadujeevitham" and "Tillu Square," which continue to draw audiences to theatres, several upcoming releases are generating significant buzz.

 

One of the most eagerly awaited films is "The Family Star," a Telugu venture starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur, directed by Parasuram Petla. Scheduled for release on April 5th, the film promises to blend romance with family drama, offering a captivating narrative for audiences to enjoy. Set against the backdrop of Madras in the 1970s-80s, this period satire promises a nostalgic journey through the world of cinema, with a stellar ensemble cast and captivating storyline. Additionally, Telugu audiences can anticipate the horror-comedy "Geethanjali Malli Vachindi," starring Anjali, while Malayalam cinema enthusiasts can look forward to "Aavesham" featuring Fahadh Faasil. Other notable releases include "Jai Ganesh" starring Unni Mukundan in Malayalam, and "Rathnam" starring Vishal in Tamil, both scheduled for release later in the month.
