Recently, a rare honor has been announced on this Comedy Emperor posthumously. Academy of Universal Global Peace USA, Swastha Enivironment and Human Rights Foundation conferred a honorary doctorate on late Jandhyala this November 1. This esteemed organization has been recognized by the prestigious United Nations Organization.
Very recently, Jandhyala's wife Smt. Annapurna received the award and has been grandly felicitated. After 14 years of the untimely demise of Jandhyala, this honor is surely a great and much deserving tribute to the legendary director.
