'Blend of Breeziness and Thump'- Temper Audio Review

Temper is an upcoming high voltage entertainer from Jr.NTR and peculiar director Puri Jagannadh. Kajal Agarwal is paired opposite the Young Tiger for the third time after hits like Brundavanam and Baadshah. Anoop Rubens has scored the music for it. Star Producer Bandla Ganesh is producing this anticipated flick. Here is an exclusive audio review of the album:

The commercial album begins on a relaxed note with Choolenge Aasma sung at his stylish best by talented singer Adnan Sami. Ramya Behara joins him rightfully with her sweet vocals and the track has decent Spanish flavor and lilting guitar strums. It would surely get on the best laid back melody list of this year!

Temper is the rightful title track which has got all the thump and vigor needed for a Jr.NTR film. Bhaskarabhatla’s lyrics speak of the Nandamuri family grandeur in style and the singers do a commendable job as well. The native percussions do their job flawlessly.

It is time for a philosophical composition with Devudaa sung by the composer Anoop Rubens himself. Bhaskarabhatla’s lyrics speak of life and the way in dealing with it in great depth and vigor. A strange Arabic flavor is also evident throughout the composition in a convincing manner.

The album gets a brilliant mass appeal with One More Time supported by impressive vocals rendered by Ranjith and Lipsika. It is a fun fusion between modern orchestration and modern carnatic flavor as well. The usage of native percussions along with timely electric guitar riffs is a huge asset to the track.

Ittage Recchipodam gives the inevitable item song touch to the album. However, the track sounds somewhat repetitive and over digitized vocals of Geetha Madhuri doesn’t sound appealing either. However, Bhaskarabhatla’s funkiest lyrics are the winning factor of the composition. It also resembles Anoop’s earlier item song Lacchamma from Ishq in many parts of it.

The album arrives to a finale with an instrumental track Temper (Theme) with an obvious blend between philosophical chants and modern rap. The electronic sequencing is impressively done for this track.

Verdict:
Temper is a decent album from the hit combination of Puri Jagannadh- Anoop Rubens who gave a hit album like Heart Attack earlier. However, the commercial appeal of the album could have been little better than what was delivered.
