If there is one playback singer in Tollywood after SPB who can deliver expressively as well as emotionally on a high level, it is Shankar Mahadevan. Despite being a non-Telugu native, his diction in Telugu is exemplary and fantastic.
Shankar Mahadevan was hospitalized in Delhi because he was complaining of chest pain. Sources say that he got two back to back cardiac attacks and after hospitalization he seems to be stable. He became the first hand choice for many composers to deliver a song which involves high emotions and power. Shankar Mahadevan is also a renowned Bollywood composer along with his friends Ehsaan and Loy. This trio gave some fantastic albums in Hindi and they also gave a memorable film Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam in Telugu earlier.
However, the singer was supposed to perform in Rajkot on 20th of this month but it might be cancelled due to this sudden illness. This anticipated show will be organized by Rotary Club of Rajkot and buzz is that Sonu Nigam might be roped in instead of Shankar Mahadevan for this event.
