Gone are the days when you could just relax your heels as soon as you complete the post production and give it for release. Now, the real challenge actually begins after completing this post production phase. These days, getting the desired number of theatres has become impossible.
This is more so for the small budget flicks. But some movies which have content stand up for the situation. For instance, the latest release Ee Cinema Superhit Guarantee got Usha Mayuri at RTC Crossroads as the theatre for release. After a while, it got Lakshmikala in Kukatpally.
Those who saw the movie appreciated it but since the person who made this movie doesn’t have money, many are demanding at least one screen should be given in the multiplexes. But then, business doesn’t work on recommendations at multiplexes, it works mainly on public talk. If this movie gets through that phase and enters the multiplex, it would be a great boost.
