'Breezy and Relaxing'- Shaurya Audio Review

Shourya is an upcoming romantic entertainer starring Manchu Manoj and Regina Cassandra in lead roles. Music for the film is composed by Vedaa and here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:

The album makes fresh beginnings with a riveting solo O Manasa sung by the talented singer Yazin Nazir and penned brilliantly by Krishna Chaitanya. The chord progression is quite trendy and the interludes are laced well with contemporary touches.

Interestingly, the album leads to a Telangana folk number  Tuppara Tuppara sung effectively by Hemachandra and Thelu Vijaya. Varikuppala Yadagiri’s lyrics are quite rustic and brilliant. The singers do a commendable job to make it an enjoyable fare which strikes a balance between folk and modern sounding.

Modata Ninnu is a beautiful melody sung by two remarkably talented singers Vijay Prakash and Ramya Behara. The track has beautiful piano touches and groovy rhythm which keeps the energy sustained throughout.  Balaji’s lyrics are quite stylish and poetic as well.

The album turns to emotional mode with Endhukani rendered at poetic best by Siddarth Watkins and Sai Charan. Varikuppala Yadgiri who essentially writers folk numbers delivers this emotional number with great vigor and poise. The song breathes freshness and beauty in every note and the style of presentation.

Now it is time for a fun item song with Rakasi Rabandhu in Telangana style with Ramki and Thelu Vijaya in vocal department. The song has good thump and vigor which would appeal to the masses quite well. Balaji’s lyrics are in conversational style with impressive usage of words.

Verdict:
Shourya is a feel good album with ample dose of duets and mass numbers. The songs reverberate freshness and vigor throughout.

Rating: 3.25/5
