New Troubles for Baahubali 2

Baahubali turned out to be the biggest project ever in Indian film industry and its first edition Baahubali The Beginning became one of the biggest grosser in India.

However this film not only bagged the craze but also faced problems like leaked scenes, piracy etc. Recently it got a major hurdle in the form of Heritage Animal Task Force with the allegation that the team of Baahubali violated the rules of Animal Welfare Board while shooting in Kerala forest.

Going to the details, makers used an elephant named Chirackal Kalidasan for the shoot without obtaining the permission letter from the Performing Animals Registration Rule 2001 and Task Force secretary VK Venkatachalam said they performed the shoot with elephant without any safety measures.

Task Force writes a letter to PMO (Prime Minister’s Office) to take action on the producer, director, cameraman and the owner of mahout under the violation of PCA Act 1960. Interestingly mahout owner also didn’t have the ownership certificate from Kerala Forest Department.

This news came out as a big blow to the team of Baahubali and we have to wait and see how this case would turn into.
